NCUK IFY國際課程簡介 

英國北方大學聯合會(簡稱NCUK)成立於1987年，總部設在曼徹斯特，是由英國16所著名大學共同創辦的聯盟組織。其中包括曼徹斯特大學、布裏斯托大學、伯明翰大學、謝菲爾德大學、利茲大學、倫敦瑪麗女王大學、肯特大學等11所 “羅素集團”成員大學，5所“紅磚大學”，10所世界百強名校，27所英國百強名校。全球超過100個教學中心，目前已有超過40000名來自世界各地的學子，通過NCUK的課程體系進入到世界一流學府深造。

香港培僑書院NCUK IFY課程從開設至今已有六年時間，升學成果顯著。以2023年為例，該課程學生申請到香港大學、香港理工大學、香港城市大學、愛丁堡大學，墨爾本大學，悉尼大學，曼徹斯特大學等世界名校，平均每位學生獲取6枚大學錄取，80%以上學生拿到世界前50名大學錄取。基於香港培僑書院IFY課程的成功錄取經驗，培僑信義於去年開設IFY課程，旨在為學生提供全面的學術教育，提高學生的學科知識和英語能力，為學生順利進入世界名校學習打下堅實的基礎。

課程優勢

01 一年制學制

IFY課程為NCUK開設的一年制國際銜接課程，完成后可直接申請海外大學。IFY成績獲英國國家學術及專業資歷機構(NARIC) 認證，成績等同英國普通教育文憑高級程度(A-Level)，美國AP及澳洲的SSCE水平。

02 保證錄取優勢

成功完成NCUK IFY課程並成績達標，學生即可享受保障錄取政策，保證被NCUK成員大學（近4000個學位課程）中的至少一所學校錄取。從學業規劃到大學申請和簽證辦理，升學老師全程指導。

03 多元選課

專為國際生而設，學生修讀四科，可更集中提升科目成績，讓學生更易考取佳績入讀海外名校。同時專業的課程體系，科學的培養方式幫助學生實現國內到國外世界名校的平穩過渡。

2024 培僑信義 IFY

培僑信義IFY一年制課程首年開設，升學成果顯著，截止目前人均拿到5封全球大學排名150名之內的知名院校預錄取通知。獲取錄修讀的專業包括：人工智慧、計算機、機械工程、市場營銷、工商管理 、物理學、心理學等。

IFY一年制課程招收12年級新生或高中畢業生

英語：雅思5.0以上或通過校內組織NCUK英語測試

數學：通過數學筆試

03 申請流程

（1）有意報讀本校學位的申請人須經本校網上入學系統填寫報名表。

（2）申請期由2024年05月27日起至2024年06月16日止。

家長須在網上填妥報名表，一經確認，申請人將被邀請參加評估。

本校將於2024年6月21日下午6時後公佈6月29日舉行的評估安排，家長須使用貴子弟的「考生編號」登入查詢。

評估結果將於7月4日公佈，通過評估的學生及家長將獲邀參加7月6日的面試。
面試後的錄取結果將於7月10日公佈，新生入學註冊將於7月16日舉行。

（所有費用會在不同學年按需要作調整）

學費：人民幣 143000元/年; 

學生統一參加住宿，住宿費人民幣 13400元/年，餐費人民幣12800元/年。

PKXYS NCUK IFY Admission Application Guideline

NCUK IFY Programme

Founded in 1987 and headquartered in Manchester, the Northern Consortium of UK (NCUK) is a consortium established by 16 leading UK universities, including the University of Manchester, University of Bristol, University of Birmingham, University of Sheffield, University of Leeds, Queen Mary University of London, University of Kent and etc., of which 11 universities are members of the Russell Group, 5 are‘Red Brick Universities’, 10 are the world's top 100 universities, 27 are the top 100 universities of UK. There are more than 100 teaching centres in the worldwide, and more than 40,000 students from all over the world have entered the world's top universities through NCUK IFY programme.

Hong Kong Pui Kiu College has been running NCUK IFY programme for six years with remarkable results. For example, in 2023, the NCUK IFY students received offers from the University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the City University of Hong Kong, Edinburgh University, the University of Melbourne, the University of Sydney, the University of Manchester and other famous universities in the world. On average, every student recieved 6 university offers, more than 80% of the students were admitted to the world's top 50 universities. Based on the successful university admissions of Hong Kong Pui Kiu College, PKXYS launched the IFY programme last year. It aims to provide students with a comprehensive education, improves students' knowledge and English proficiency, and lays a solid foundation for students to enter the world's most prestigious universities.

Advantages of NCUK IFY

01 One-year Programme

The IFY programme is a one-year international foundation programme offered by NCUK. Upon completion, students can apply to the universities directly. NCUK IFY is accredited by the NARIC UK as the qualification equivalent to GCE A-Levels, APs in the US and SSCEs in Australia.

02 Guaranteed Admission

Successful completion of the NCUK IFY programme and attainment of the required grades will entitle the students to the Guaranteed Acceptance Policy, which guarantees acceptance to at least one of the NCUK member universities (nearly 4,000 degree programmes). Our college counselling teachers offer guidance in the whole process of academic planning, university application and visa processing.

03 Diversified Course Selection

NCUK IFY programme is designed specifically for international students. Students improve their subject grades easier because they focus on learning four subjects, making it easier to enter the prestigious overseas universities. At the same time, the professional curriculum system and scientific cultivation method help students experience a smooth transition from local school to the overseas universities.

04 Comprehensive Evaluation

The IFY academic grades include both continuous assessment and final examination results, which encourages students to focus on daily learning and reduces the pressure of the final examination.

05 Exemption of IELTS Exam

The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) subject is designed to be more practical and to meet the English language learning needs of overseas universities. Students who have passed the EAP subject in IFY are eligible for IELTS exemption from many UK universities.

2024 PKXYS IFY

PKXYS IFY programme was launched for the first year, and the univeristy application outcomes are remarkable. Each student has received 5 conditional offers from the top 150 universities globally. Their majors include: artificial intelligence, computer science, mechanical engineering, marketing, business administration, physics, psychology, and so on.

03 Application Process

(1) Applicants intended to enrol in our programmes must complete the online application through the school's admission system.

(2) The application period is from 27 May 2024 to 16 June 2024.

Parents are required to complete the online application form. Upon confirmation, applicants will be invited to attend the written tests.

At 6:00 p.m, 21 June 2024, the school will release the arrangement of the written tests to be held on 29 June 2024. Parents should use the child's ‘Candidate Number’ to log in for the information.

The results of the written tests will be released on 4 July. Students who have passed the tests will be invited to attend an interview with the parents on 6 July.

Interview results will be released on 10 July, and the registration of new students will be held on 16 July.

04 Documents required to be uploaded

(4) Copies of the final examination results for the last 3 years

(5) Academic Achievements (Optional): IELTS report, IGCSE and AS grade reports (if available), student's recommendation letter, proof of extracurricular activities, or copies of award certificates.

05 2024-2025 School Fees

(The fee may be adjusted in the coming academic years. )

International Curriculum Tuition Fees: RMB 143000 per year.

All international curriculum students are required to board. The boarding fee is RMB 13400 per year, and the meal fee is RMB 12800 per year.
